Just a side note Darwin checkin noted that domestic is 23kg and were quite persistent about it and said you can’t extend up to 30kg. My observation it may have been because they have to manually handle bags on domestic flights. When the family comes will just try for extra checked in baggage.

Everything went really well!

Thanks for arranging our Japan trip, apart from some flight delays everything went really well!
